What started as our fascination with one of Abercrombie's most talked-about dresses has become an ongoing creative collaboration, a growing collection of wearable art, and something we're calling The Dylan Dress Diaries.

There's something about Nashville that makes fashion and music feel inseparable.
The cowboy boots. The vintage treasures. The honky-tonks. The women who know how to combine a beautiful dress with something completely unexpected. A little Southern charm. A little rock and roll. And just enough attitude to keep things interesting. We wanted our first Dylan Dress Diaries creation to capture that spirit without looking like a costume.
And what could be more fitting than musical notes dancing across one of our favorite dresses? But here's our favorite little twist:
Although The Nashville takes its inspiration from Music City, its wearable-art transformation happened in Brooklyn, New York.
Two cities with enormous creative personalities.
One fabulous dress.
We love the contrast.
The original Dylan silhouette remains beautifully recognizable, with her fitted bodice, dropped waist, and dramatic full skirt. Snow Milk's musical-note design gives the dress a completely different point of view.

Apparently, we're not the only ones who have fallen for the Dylan.
The dress and Abercrombie's broader bra-free collection have attracted attention from several established fashion publications.
In July 2026, Stephanie Maida, Senior Commerce Editor at PureWow, published a hands-on review of two Abercrombie bra-free dresses, including the Dylan.
